The Zoological Information Management System provides users access to the updated species holding access in the global database. Once you have been provided EOZ access, you can log into the ZIMS application and run the program link called "species holding" from the ZIMS desktop.
This ZIMS program access allows you the ability to navigate the entire global collection of species and see in which Species360 member institutions these species are kept, how many males/females and undetermined sex specimens have been reported and this permits you access the understand the basics of navigating in the ZIMS application. Additionally, you can use EOZ to access the regional and globally listed animals available and species wanted service available in ZIMS.
