Activity Report – Manner of Death Export
Activity Report Export to RAW EXCEL to Filter on Manner of Death
This is a workaround for a future capability to search based on the manner of death for your death transactions within the Transaction Report in ZIMS.

Run an Activity report for your desired date range but only include:
Event Type= deaths. And, Export For Raw Excel.
- In excel output, Insert two blank columns to the right of Column I
- Highlight column I, under Data tab in Excel, choose Text to Columns

Step 1 of 3 Choose= Delimited
Step 2 of 3 (A) by using: Delimiter= Other ...enter a colon as delimiter ":" (B)
You will see the data preview below (C)
- Complete the action – if you followed step 2 you will not lose data, otherwise, this it will overwrite columns J (RecordedBy) and K (ActualTransactionDate)
- Now you can filter on column j= manner of death in much more useful way
