This resource provides globally aggregated data on the usage of drugs by taxonomy in ZIMS Medical. The resource was developed through funding by the IMLS.GOV grant secured by SPECIES360 in support of global medical analytical data.
Disclaimer: Species360 provides this drug usage summary information on an “as is” basis. These values are derived from the prescription records entered by our global member community and are meant to assist with treatment decisions. These values should not be considered to be drug, dose, dosage, route or frequency recommendations, nor does historical information regarding usage of specific drugs in a specific species imply either safety or efficacy. Good clinical judgment must always be used when evaluating and using any information obtained from these drug usage extracts.
The extracts are available under Start > Medical > Medical Resources or Start > Global Resources > Medical Resources.
Launching the tool, the Global ZIMS Statistics tab will display the current data included in the Extracts calculations. Example, as of May 2019:

1. Clicking on the records count (View) will provide a statistical overview of the records available for that prescription.
2. If you are looking at the Species Level you will be offered a link to look at the Genus level of results and the count available.
3. If no drug usage meets the minimum criteria of usable data a list of unusable results will be offered.
These results can be exported to Excel or PDF.
