Enclosures-Upload Measurement Data
The Upload Measurement Data functionality allows Users to upload Excel files into their Environmental or Water Quality Measurement grid.
Open the desired Enclosure from either the Enclosure Search box or the Enclosure Tree.
From the Details tab go to the Environmental or Water Quality Measurements grid > Actions > Upload Measurement Data.
You will first need to download a sample blank template in either csv or Excel.
It will look as below. You may want to save it for future use so you don’t have to download it again.
Complete the grid, or cut and paste from another file. All fields must be entered EXACTLY as displayed in ZIMS. Save the file.
You may need to format your Excel columns for the date field. Right click on column >Format Cells.
Select the Number tab > Custom > select or complete the Type.
Reopen Upload Measurement Data in the Measurements grid and Browse to the Excel file you saved. Select Next.
If any entries are invalid, they will be indicated by a red exclamation mark and a red Error Note indicating what field is invalid.
Correct it from the drop down list.
Refresh the list to correct the entry.
You can either check the entries you want to import and select to Import Selected Records or, if you still have errors in the grid you can select to Import all Valid Records.
The measurements will display on the Measurements grid.
