Enclosures-Moving 

Moving an enclosure refers to an actual physical move from one location to another location within your facility. This does not mean dragging and dropping enclosures within the Enclosure Tree to correct their order. See Enclosures-Managing the Tree for that functionality.

Tank 2 is broken and it needs to be moved to the Maintenance Building for repairs.

Enclosure icon->Search for Enclosure or use Enclosure Tree->More Details tab->Move History->Actions>Record Enclosure Move.

1) Current Parent Name - prefills with the Parent of the enclosure in focus, this is not editable

2) Move Date - use the date that you moved the enclosure from one location to another

3) New Enclosure Location - free text field to help you identify where the enclosure is now located

4) New Parent Enclosure - record what enclosure you moved this enclosure into (ie the new parent)

5) Enclosure Move Reason - select the reason from the data standard list

6) Descriptions - further free text details regarding the move. Save.

 

Result

The move will be displayed in the Enclosure Move grid:
