The basic information needed to identify your enclosures.
When you add a new enclosure there are only three mandatory fields: Name, Category and Type. Once you save the new Enclosure, you have the option to go into the Basic Details to add the additional information, or you can open the Enclosure record at a later date to add the details. From Basic Detail select Actions > Edit Details.
All the fields can be edited except for Responsible Party.
Name – Sourced from the add new Enclosure screen.
1.Identifiers – A shortened name for the Enclosure. Can be entered in the add new screen.
Parent Enclosure – Sourced from the add new Enclosure screen.
Category – Sourced from add new Enclosure screen.
Type – Sourced from add new Enclosure screen.
2.Responsible Party – Sourced from add new Enclosure screen if entered there. This field cannot be edited here. To edit you will need to go to More Details tab > Responsible Party > View/Edit or Add New.
3.Location – Sourced from add new Enclosure screen if entered.
4.Latitude and Longitude – Can be added here and are not sourced from the add new Enclosure screen.
5.Moveable/Walkthrough – Check or uncheck as appropriate.
6.Active – Sourced from the add new Enclosure screen. Active checked by default. If you want to make the Enclosure Inactive simply uncheck this box.
You now have a more complete Basic Details grid. The Permit list will source from More Details > Permits grid.
