Animals-Adding contraception
How to add contraception to an animal record in ZIMS.
Contraception is found in the Animals module in the Details tab. Select Add New to add a new contraception record.
You can have more than one active Contraception at a time. In our example below, a uterine mass was found so a hysterectomy was performed. We added the medical Contraception.
Due to the surgery we want to mark the hormonal Contraception as Inactive, so we edit that entry and add an End Date.
It now displays as Inactive in the grid.
To search for Contracepted animals use the Advanced Animal Search.
